Union Heights Elementary Celebrates Read Across America Week

Last week we celebrated Read Across America week.   

We wore crazy socks, red and white, dressed up as Cat in the Hat, had green eggs and ham, you name we tried to do it.  Here are some pictures from the week.

Oh the Places You Will go . . . 2nd grade had some press for the places they would go.

We had several people come and read to our classes during the week . . .

Football Players from SCHS football team came and read to our Kindergarten Class.

Ms. Rachel's Kindergarten class had a special guess come and read to them.

Mr. Smith, District Superintended, as read to our 2nd grade class.

Our County Mayor, Mr. Jeff Mason, took time out of his busy schedule to come read to our 2nd grade class.

Third Grade being read to by the 3 members of the cast from Shrek the Musical.

We had a fun time celebrating Dr. Suess's Birthday and Read Across America!!!
