Title 1
Title 1
Union Heights Elementary School is a schoolwide Title I school. Title I is the largest federal aid program for elementary, middle, and high schools. Through Title I, the Federal government provides money to states, which in turn provide money to school districts based on poverty statistics. Union Heights Elementary uses its Title I funds to improve the entire program of the school so that all students are impacted. Parents, teachers, and administrators work together to determine student needs, set goals based on those needs, plan and carry out programs, evaluate programs, and work with students to see that they have every opportunity for academic success.
